You know what is wrong with Dominica and Roosevelt Skerrit and his administration. They keep promoting endless “programs” and “initiatives,” claiming they will bring change, but nothing ever does. You see it every day “Oh, this program, that program, funding for this, funding for that” – all designed to look like progress. But after the initial promotion, it is all smoke and mirrors.
These programs are not about helping Dominicans, they’re about handing money to the government’s circle of friends, disguised as “development initiatives.” We see it in our timelines every day: posts about programs that promise jobs, skills, and opportunities, but deliver nothing. Jobs that were promised never appear. Opportunities that were advertised never materialize. Families continue to struggle. Communities remain underserved. Nothing changes.
And while the people of Dominica wait for results, Labour supporters continue to enjoy free rides, handouts funded by your hard-earned tax dollars, while those who are truly working to build a better Dominica are ignored. This is not leadership. This is favoritism. This is a government that looks after its own first and its people last.
Under the Dominica Reform Party, this ends. Funding will go only to those who have a genuine commitment to Dominica’s future, individuals who are willing to roll up their sleeves, put in the work and produce real results for their communities.
No excuses. No delays. Deliver or the funding stops as fast as it started.
We believe in accountability, transparency and fairness. Every Dominican deserves the chance to succeed based on their own merit, not their political connections. Every government dollar should be an investment in progress, not a gift to insiders.
We will empower citizens, support real entrepreneurship, create meaningful jobs and ensure that every initiative has measurable outcomes. Our goal is a Dominica where programs and policies are tools for real change, not just political theater.
Dominicans are tired of empty promises. They are tired of seeing their potential wasted while a few benefit from a system rigged in their favor. Roland and the Dominica Reform Party are committed to changing that.
- We will put the people first, not politics.
- We will measure success by results, not by press releases.
It is time to hold our leaders accountable. It’s time to demand more. And it’s time for real, tangible, lasting change in Dominica.
