From The Leader’s Office: What Happened To Roosevelt Skerrit?

This is a man who once filled rallies and stood proudly before the people of Dominica. Today, that same “world leader” sits behind an enormous desk in his office, surrounded by less than a handful of carefully selected reporters. That desk isn’t just big – it’s a shield for his personal insecurities. The need for such a massive barrier says it all. A man afraid of being small, afraid of being challenged, afraid of being seen for who he really is. The bigger the desk, the smaller the leader.

Think about that for a moment.

A leader who once claimed to lead our people, now hides from them. Press conferences that once drew huge crowds, now struggle to even attract minimual attention. Online viewership barely reaches a hundred people at any given time. For someone who has been in power for more than twenty years, that kind of silence speaks louder than any speech he could ever give.

  • This isn’t strength.
  • This isn’t leadership.
  • This is the slow, public collapse of a failed political career.

When a leader can no longer face the people freely, when questions must be controlled, when audiences shrink and enthusiasm disappears, it means the country has already begun to move on. And the signs are everywhere.

  • People are tired of the games.
  • Tired of the excuses.
  • Tired of being told everything is fine when they can clearly see it isn’t.

I see it in the way conversations are changing. I see it in the way more people are sharing my posts and discussing the ideas of the Dominica Reform movement. For a while things slowed down – but now the momentum is returning.

So I want to say thank you to everyone who has been sharing the message. Every share matters. Every conversation matters. That’s how change begins.

But we need more than shares. We need people willing to stand up, join the team, and help build something real. When that happens, when enough people step forward, registering the party and moving forward becomes possible.

While the current leadership sits quietly behind closed doors, the people of Dominica are waking up. And once that happens, No Desk, No Office, and No Carefully Staged Private Press Conference can stop what comes next.
