To Thomson Fontaine – Stop Playing Games and explain yourself!
In your latest campaign flyer, you boldly declare: “We do not need a medical doctor or someone with no training in finance” to run our country – with the words “a medical doctor” highlighted in yellow.
It is obviously clear that you are not talking about Roosevelt Skerrit as his “doctor” titles are honorary degrees, not earned medical qualifications:
- 2016, Lovely Professional University in Punjab, India, conferred on him a Doctor of Literature.
- 2018, Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, awarded him an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters.
These are ceremonial honors recognizing his contributions – they do not make him a medical doctor.
So tell ALL OF US, Fontaine: who exactly are you referring to with that highlighted phrase? What point are you trying to make by emphasizing “a medical doctor” in bright yellow?
Get to the point – or is this just another empty red herring, like your Cayman Islands claims of having “the 20 million proof?” The people of Dominica deserve straight answers, not smoke and mirrors.
I, as Leader of the Dominica Reform Party, demand that you explain:
- What did you mean?
- Who are you throwing subtle jabs at?
- And why the yellow highlight?
Every voter has the right to know whether your statements are meaningful or just empty red herrings. The time for ambiguity is over. The time for clarity is now. Step up, explain yourself, and stop playing games.
