From The Leader’s Office: Quite Cowards

This is absolutely ridiculous. But what do we expect when an entire country quietly sits back, complains on social media, and does nothing to stop it? This is no way for anyone to live or to be forced to work under conditions that are humiliating, degrading, and inhuman.

The harsh reality? The only people who actually want change are the ones in the video, the ones out there doing the dirty, thankless work. Standing in the sun, lifting garbage onto a truck, getting pelted by trash just to clean up the mess no one else in this country will touch. These are the people sweating, straining, and taking abuse, while the rest of Dominica watches, scrolls past, or pretends to care.

And the crazy part? The people who sit online and pretned to care, don’t even realize that it is their lack of action that has allowed this to happen. By doing nothing, by refusing to act, they are complicit in creating the very conditions they complain about.

No one else in the entire country is willing to fight against this kind of inhuman treatment. No one else is stepping up to stand for dignity, justice, and respect. Except the Dominica Reform Party, who is actually willing to go where others won’t.

Dominicans, it’s time to face the hard truth! Change isn’t going to come from sitting on your ass looking at your phone and posting nonsense complaints online. It doesn’t come from empty words. Real change does not comes from real people doing the work—day in and day out, while the rest of the country does nothing.

The question is simple – are you going to keep watching, or will you finally stand up? Because right now, the ones doing the hard work are the only ones in this entire country who actually care and it’s your laziness that has allowed things to get this bad.
