This is Not Leadership. This Is Treason Against Our People In Dominica.

The arrogance of Roosevelt Skerrit is beyond belief. After nearly 25 years of ruling Dominica like his personal kingdom, he now spits in the face of every Dominican by turning his back on us all and preparing to replace us with Palestinians, just to collect foreign aid that he and his cronies will steal long before it ever reaches our people.

Skerrit now wants to bring Palestinians to Dominica, a nation already buckling under economic failure, with no jobs, no affordable housing, a health system in crisis, a generation of youth leaving because they have no hope, and people who can not even afford three meals a day.

Yet Skerrit wants to roll out the red carpet for outsiders. Why? Because foreign aid will come with them, he will use it for anything but what it is intended for. Just like he did with the post-Hurricane Maria assistance. Billions in pledges, donations, and global sympathy all vanished into the wind while roofs remained uncovered and families still can not find a home.

Skerrit is not doing this because he cares about Palestinians. He is doing this because he sees opportunity, not for the country, but for himself and his close circle. For foreign money, international praise and a photo op at the UN.

Meanwhile, Dominicans will be pushed further to the farthest corners of our own country. While  we are begging for food, water, and housing, thesenewcomers will be handed the very things we have been denied.

They will be given:

  • Jobs we have been denied.
  • Housing, we have waited years for.
  • Healthcare we can not access.
  • Support we have never received.

:And what will we get? Just a visual reminder that in Skerrit’s Dominica, the real citizens, the ones who have struggled, sacrificed, and suffered are dead last. Unless you wear red shirt and clap like a trained seal every time he opens his mouth to spew more lies, you get nothing.

No opportunity. No respect. No future. Just crumbs while he hands out our island like a raffle prize to these foreigners. Enough is Enough!

Worse still, these foreigners are not just refugees; many have been actively involved in violent conflicts, terror attacks, bombing other countries, and spreading violence. We do not know which day Skerrit thinks this is, but bringing these foreigners here to Dominica is reckless and dangerous. Our safety and security MUSTCOME FIRST, yet Skerrit fearlessly gambles with our future and our country.

Skerrit is doing this because he got away with it after Hurricane Maria. He mismanaged millions in aid, left our people suffering, and no one held him accountable. Now, years later, he sees another opportunity not to help Dominicans, but to help himself again, just under a new excuse.

This time, it is not about rebuilding after a storm; it is about “welcoming refugees.” But what it really means is:

  • New aid money is flowing in, supposedly for humanitarian efforts.
  • More control over the population, especially a desperate and dependent one.
  • A fresh distraction, to keep people from asking where all the money from Maria went.
  • Jobs and housing will be given to foreigners, while our people are still jobless and living in tarpaulin homes years later.

Skerrit is trying to pull the same scam twice and hoping no one is smart enough to notice. But this time, the country is watching, we are speaking, and we will not stay silent.

Skerrit did not do this alone because he is bold, he did it because he knows every one of his 19 puppet MPs will stand behind him, no matter how insane or dangerous the decision. Not out of loyalty to Dominica, but out of loyalty to their pockets. They are bought, silenced, and complicit.

These 19 see foreign aid flooding in, and they are already calculating:

  • What contracts they will get for fake “resettlement programs.”
  • What cut do they skim from international donations.
  • Which offshore accounts are they quietly top up.
  • How many PR photo-ops can they stage while pretending they care about refugees or the people of Dominica.

This is not about national interest. This is about shared greed, protection of the corrupt inner circle, and a guaranteed payday for every one of them who claps and nods when Skerrit speaks. They stand behind him because they know the game, and they all want in on the loot, just like after Hurricane Maria.

This is about survival! This is about a corrupt regime that has failed our people in Dominica at every level and is now trying to replace them. Skerrit and his 19 puppets, after nearly 25 years of looting the country and crushing dissent, have come up with one final, desperate move: flood Dominica with desperate foreigners, hand them citizenship like candy, and buy their loyalty with passports and handouts during before an election.

Why? Because he knows his time is almost up. Even members of his party are quietly reaching out to the NEW Dominica Reform Party (DRP) team. They see the writing on the wall. Skerrit is panicking, and knowing he can not fix the mess he has made, he wants to import a new voting base that will worship him for the scraps he throws their way. These foreigners will not question his corruption. They will not demand transparency. They will not care about the damage done to Dominicans, because they are not from here.

This is our brothers and sisters, is a hostile takeover of Dominica by its own Prime Minister. This is electoral sabotage, plain and simple. It is a calculated plan to erase your voice, your vote, and your future. He is replacing you, our Dominican people, with a population that will outnumber us at the ballot box and guarantee his grip on power continues. This is not leadership. This is treason against our people in Dominica.

Skerrit is not building a nation; he is dismantling it. And if we do not stop him now, we will not recognize the Dominica we leave behind for our children. He is selling our country one passport at a time, and soon, there will be nothing left for Dominicans to call our own.

To his blind followers who see nothing wrong: Shame On You! You are either willfully ignorant or complicit in the destruction of Dominica. You are helping to bury this country while pretending you are saving it. What kind of person sits quietly while their people are pushed aside?

We all must now draw the line here. No more lies. No more fear. No more division. This is not about red or blue. It is about right and wrong. It is about Dominicans first and finally standing up and saying: We will not be second or third class citizens in our own country.

Let this be the moment the country wakes up. We are not cattle. We are not expendable. If we do not stand together now, united, not as DLP or UWP, but as Dominicans, then we will all soon find ourselves strangers in the land we were born in.

Skerrit has had 25 years. And this is what it has come to now? Giving away the future of Dominica again for foreign favors and secret handshakes? We are done begging. We are done watching. It is time to take our country back.

We are not against foreigners. We welcome those who come here to contribute, to build, to support Dominica’s development. But we are absolutely against bringing in foreigners from anywhere who are placed ahead of us in our own home. Dominicans are not second-class citizens.

When we form the next geovernment, let it be known and understood clearly that any Palestinians brought into Dominica under this reckless scheme will be sent right back. No matter their reasons. No matter the vetting. Dominicans are suffering, we are struggling, including ourselves. And the NEW Dominica Reform Party (DRP) will be damned if Roosevelt Skerrit and his government of puppets think we will feed, house, and employ foreigners in our country while Dominicans remain hungry, homeless, and jobless.

Enough is Enough. This is not our war and it is not our responsibility to take care of them. This is not leadership. It is lunacy. It is treason dressed up as diplomacy.
