37. The Path Forward: Ending The Chaos In Our Government.

Dominica deserves a government that works for its people, efficient, accountable and free from endless red tape. But today, under Skerrit and his administration, our government is a maze of bureaucracy, overlapping responsibilities and a hodgepodge of departments that confuse rather than serve citizens. This failure has left ordinary Dominicans frustrated and our nation’s reputation weakened.

Our plan is clear, we will reorganize government to work for the people, not against them. This is not about cutting jobs; it is about creating a system that is organized, efficient and reliable. Civil servants will continue their work, but in a system where responsibilities are clear, processes are streamlined, and unnecessary delays are eliminated.

How can we ask foreigners to live, work and invest in Dominica when we ourselves cannot navigate our own government? How can we be taken seriously on the global stage when our own citizens are trapped in a system that rewards inefficiency and punishes patience? This current government has failed to act, leaving a system that allows personal grudges, favoritism and delay to dictate results. This ends with us.

We will create a user-friendly, accountable government where every process has clear deadlines, every complaint is addressed and every unnecessary delay has consequences. If someone causes an unjustified delay, they will be removed from office and replaced by someone committed to serving the people, not protecting their own ego or personal feelings. Citizens will know exactly when they can expect results and no one will be allowed to hold them back.

This is not just reform, it is restoring trust and credibility. Skerrit’s and his government have allowed inefficiency and chaos to fester for too long. We will replace it with a government that is transparent, accountable and results-driven. A government that works for Dominicans, not for insiders.

A streamlined government will also be better positioned to support national priorities, suhc as economic growth, education, healthcare, security and foreign investment. With clear structures, faster decisions and real accountability, Dominica can finally move forward and citizens will see tangible results.

Dominica cannot continue to be held back by a this government incapable of managing itself. We are committed to creating a system that is efficient, fair, and reliable, a government that earns the respect of its people and the world.

It is time for real reform, real organization, and real leadership.
