From The Leader’s Office: Dominica Rises

Roosevelt Skerrit and his government build walls around our thoughts and our hearts, dividing our youth so they can cling to control. Fear is sold as safety, lies are dressed up as leadership and freedom is spoken about but never truly given. Yet still, our people rise and chant from the streets, because Roosevelt Skerrit cannot silence the rhythm, the voice, or the will of the people.

This year, starting today, we confront Roosevelt Skerrit and his government not with weapons, but with truth, courage, and the fire of awareness. We challenge a system built on illusion, manipulation, and broken promises. Our spirits stand tall, our feet are firm, and we refuse to run, refuse to bow, and refuse to be silent any longer.

We will dismantle Roosevelt Skerrit and his government stone by stone. Our words carry power. Our message carries weight. We will tear down confusion, misinformation, and deception. One love moves us, one struggle unites us, and one clear direction carries us forward: change.

They act as if our worth comes from shame, fear and regret. They hide behind titles, boards, badges, and authority, teaching our youth to dream small and accept less. But today, we as a country reject that lie. We all must choose to dream bigger, to reach higher, and to live without fear. Every voice here is a spark. Every step forward is a flame. We bow only to truth, never to control, corruption, or humiliation.

We let the lies burn away. We let the hatred dissolve. We let the false light fade. Not the people, but the excuses, the masks, and the crowns built on deception. And as they fall, unity rises, strength returns, and the walls begin to crumble.

We challenge Roosevelt Skerrit and his government by freeing our minds and uniting our souls. We challenge them by rejecting division and lifting our voices together. Today, we permit ourselves to change, to challenge and to rise. We light the flame with love at the center, because real justice, real leadership, and real freedom cannot exist without it. It starts with the Dominica Reform Party.
