From The Leader’s Office: A Better Political Path For Dominica

Let us be more like Canada and less like the United States. Canada shows that a country can disagree without tearing itself apart. Elections are calm. Results are accepted. Politics does not control everyday life and people do not treat party loyalty as identity.

In the United States, politics has become constant conflict. Every issue is partisan. Division is profitable. Nothing moves forward without a fight and ordinary people pay the price financially and socially. Dominica does not need that model.

  • We do not need fear-based politics.
  • We do not need authoritarian government.
  • We do not need blind loyalty to any party or leader.
  • We need stability, cooperation and accountability.
  • Let us vote for policies, not personalities.
  • Let us choose solutions, not division.
  • Let us build a political culture that puts Dominica first – always.

It is time we change the way we vote.
